Working together as a team sharing these fantastic tools are perfect for the preparation of labour, birth and parenthood.

At this very special time it is important to experience the support, understanding and care of your loved one, so that you both feel prepared with practical tools that will assist with the birth of your baby. When you feel nourished emotionally, well prepared physically you gain the mental strength that is necessary to have a natural empowered birth.

Lynda is an experienced pre and post natal yoga, aromatherapist, reflexologist and doula. She will guide you both through some simple techniques that you can take to the labour room. This 2.5 hour workshop will include..

Inner focus work to induce and maintain a state of calm

Breath work that can help ease pain management

Partner yoga postures, movement and position for labour

Relaxation and yoga nidra

Positive affirmation for desired outcome (beautiful healthy baby)

Massage points to help ease the changing body

Accupoints to help natural induction post due date

Rebozo technique to help baby engage into a good birthing position (bring a sarong)

Question and answers

As you both refine your conscious awareness to yourself and your partners needs, you start tuning into the bodies natural rhythms, your natural state of being (be-in) your emotional, mental & energetic bodies become calmed, soothed and relaxed. This lead to surrendered states that allow you to access a deep natural power and strength, opening with trust to the forces of nature, so the body can do what it was designed to do, to birth your child consciously, giving them the best start in life.

This workshop is open to everyone and will be held at Jivamukti Yoga Sydney in Newtown

Unit A, 76 Wilford Street Newtown.
