In this workshop we will look at how and why a yoga asana practice should be amended to support a woman’s body during menstruation. We will also discuss techniques and practices to bring a disrupted cycle back into balance, to improve fertility and to nurture and support healthy menstruation. As well as yoga techniques we will also focus on some teachings from the Wise Earth School of Ayurveda.
The workshop would be good for all levels as well as for yoga teachers who want to learn how to support a woman when she is experiencing her moon cycle. It is lecture based and you might wish to bring a notebook.
