The retreat is lead by highly experienced Iyengar Yoga teacher, Tamar Kelly. Tamar has been practicing since 1995 and teaching since 1999. She holds a Junior Intermediate level 3 certification. Tamar is passionate about the Iyengar Yoga method; its depth, beauty, discipline and vividness, both physically and spiritually. Students arrive at the accommodation on Friday, May 31. We officially begin the retreat with a restorative yoga session Friday evening. Each day we will start with a one hour pranayama practice, a short juice break and then a two hour yoga practice. This is followed by a delicious and healthy breakfast. Students are encouraged to rest and relax through the day, or quietly explore the surrounding sights, spa’s and galleries. The group will come together again in the afternoon for another yoga session. The evening is free, allowing those who wish to dine out to do so, or those who want to stay quiet or retire early to follow that need.
