Coming from a ballet background, Samii’s yoga journey started in early 2012 when she was looking for a new way to keep her body healthy and moving, while at the same time looking for something that would teach her to calm her emotions.
After becoming addicted to the physical and emotional benefits she was experiencing on and off the mat, she decided to expand her knowledge and take the next step and in 2014 she completed her 350 hour teacher training course. Alongside her yoga journey, Samii is currently completing a bachelor degree to become a naturopath and also runs a small photography business on the side. She believes that yoga is the one thing that keeps her mentally, physical and emotionally balanced, and that yoga is a way of resetting herself, mind, body and soul back to a more relaxed and calm state. “The benefits from my yoga practise that drew me in at the start of my journey are still a part of what I am thankful for everyday, Yoga has taught me to take a moment, take a mental step back and breath, creating the space needed within my mind and thoughts”
