Karen’s yoga journey began with Bikram yoga, a 90minute practise, 5 times a week in a strict Bikram studio, in 2008. She turned to yoga during a time of great emotional trauma in her life, and found it to be life changing.
It was hot, it was intense, both physically and mentally and it was wonderful. What began as a distraction soon turned into an addiction, and eventually a way of life. Karen believes yoga has the ability to heal and strengthen both the mind and body, all the while complimenting every aspect of ones life. Relationships grow stronger with family and friends, as well as with oneself, and you start to see the wonder in everything and everyone.
When Karen is not practising or teaching yoga, she runs her own Beauty Therapy Business and has the good fortune of helping enable others to create the feeling of beauty both inside and out.
