Description

Are you looking for alternative solutions to strengthen your own mental health through ancient yogic practices? Or are you a yoga teacher, looking to transform peoples’ lives by helping them create lasting change?

Strengthening Mental Health through Yogic Practices

Society at large is currently at a point where people are struggling to cope with life’s stresses and mental health issues like anxiety, depression and burnout abound. Being able to taylor your own or your students’ yoga practice to cater for such issues is not only a great gift, but - as a teacher - a highly relevant skill set in the crowded health & wellness market.

As a yoga teacher for almost two decades and one of Australia’s foremost leaders in the yoga industry, Keenan Crisp combines powerful asana with deep spiritual wisdom and powerful mindset work as a high performance coach. During this immersion weekend, he will share powerful tools that yogis have used through the ages to calm and steady their minds, even through during the most adverse and stressful situations in life.

About Keenan

A Graduate of the Royal Military College Duntroon, Keenan served for seven years within the Australian Defence Force doing several overseas deployments including active service in East Timor.

After completing his service, Keenan traveled the world extensively spending five consecutive years visiting over 40 countries, studying Yoga, Vedanta, Ayurveda, World Religion, Human Nature and Spirituality.

It was in Congo, where he worked for Doctors Without Borders (Medicine Sans Frontier – MSF) that he witnessed first-hand crimes against humanity and decided that the best way he could help others was to help change the way they think. So he returned to India for near on three years to study at various Schools, Universities and Ashrams.

Since then, Keenan has worked tirelessly to expound the teachings of yoga in a modern and accessible way, running countless workshops teaching philosophy, physiology and yoga psychology. He has facilitated world class yoga retreats and teacher trainings and has instructed thousands of yoga asana classes as a master facilitator within Power Living Australia.

Informed by both his yoga and high performance mindset work, Keenan’s “Seven Steps to Lasting Freedom” process has helped thousands of people to transform their limiting beliefs and step into a more powerful and authentic version of themselves.

His mission is to guide his students to live consciously, love intentionally, serve selflessly and - from this place of authenticity - experience a better life connection.
