Saturday March 16, 2019, 1.45pm-4pm
Talk: Learn how to adapt your yoga practice to support you during the sensitive menstrual phase of your cycle. This is when it’s important and beneficial for your health and wellbeing as a woman to practise a nurturing, supportive ‘Dark Moon Yoga Practice’. Ana will explain the key principles and guidelines
for practising yoga safely and appropriately during menstruation. You will then embody these ideas in the practice.
Practice: Ana will guide you through a sample Dark Moon Yoga Practice. This is a nurturing, restorative yoga practice that is especially designed for menstruation and to make you feel like the queen that you are! This practice is also beneficial for any woman, no matter what age, as a supportive, regenerative practice.
Cost: $45
*WORKSHOP: "Embracing Menopause" with Ana Davis and Eve Grzybowski
Sunday March 17, 2019, 10am-1pm
Talk: Eve and Ana will lead a discussion about the benefits of embracing rather than resisting the process of menopause making our peace with this tumultuous life-change. They will explain what’s happening in our bodies as we move into the ‘wise woman’ phase, including an all-important understanding of ‘perimenopause’, and how to support ourselves with the
tools of yoga.
Practice: Eve will guide you through a therapeutic Supported Inversions practice especially designed for menopause. The practice will finish with a deep relaxation to leave you feeling refreshed and inspired.
Cost: $50
These workshops are open to any level of yoga experience—yoga teachers and students alike—and will include a balanced mix of practical and theory. They are also open to women of all ages. You will benefit from each workshop, no matter your age or life-phase, and will be inspired to practise your yoga in a more feminine, nurturing way.
