Namaste!
I’m a certified Yoga Teacher, with a 500hr Diploma from the Yoga Institute in Sydney. I have taken workshops in specialised yoga classes such as yoga for back care, pre and post natal yoga, yoga for healthy ageing, and children's yoga. I am currently providing yoga classes in a community space in Epping, NSW.
My yoga journey began in 1992, when I started attending yoga classes in a local church hall, and lead to my full time dedication to yoga and mediation. I traveled to India in 1993 and lived in an asrama there for two years, immersing myself in India's spiritual philosophy, meditation, and yoga practice.
On returning to Australia I lived in a Melbourne asrama for a further five years, and taught meditation, yoga and Vedic philosophy.
I have been initiated into the Bhakti Yoga tradition, where I received my sanskrit name, and also second or Brahman initiation.
I am also a qualified graphic designer, and enjoy creating Vedic inspired artwork.
Yoga and meditation have been the foundation for my journey of personal, physical, and spiritual growth over the last 25 years.
I love to help others begin or expand on their yoga journey, and look forward to being part of yours.
