Nature is creative, and you are a part of nature.
Nature is creative, and you are a part of nature.

What is Yoga really and how do we use this ancient art to find peace in today's modern times? Yoga itself is both a path and a goal. The Path of Yoga, and the practice of Yoga lead you to a space of infinite potential called freedom, this freedom is Yoga. Along this Path we find benefits that give our lives meaning. One noted benefit from practicing Yoga is increased creativity.

Creativity is a human process. We are the only species that has the ability to be aware and are aware of this awareness. These moments of deep contemplation is creative in nature. When we express ourselves through writing, singing, dancing, painting, gardening, cooking, acting, and any other creative expression, we are tapping into a state of awareness that is beyond confinement of roles.

Even labeling yourself an artist or not is adhering to the labels that confine us. If you've never thought yourself an artist, then why would you go on creating art? I am here to tell you that you are an artist. Within each one of us is an artist waiting to be expressed. Yoga helps us tap into our creative nature. When we become still enough to listen and clear away stagnant energy we naturally flow into creativity. Creative energy is alive in us all, and Yoga helps to reveal it.
