I am open to yoga covers and long term positions in Sydney, whilst I explore if a full time yoga teacher is my calling.
I own Namastay.com.au and run regular wellbeing and relaxation retreats, which I adore and drip my absolute passion and enthusiasm into. I also teach weekly private, group and yoga covers in the Eastern Suburbs, and yoga for charity events/camps for Huntington's Disease Association.
I have been a student of yoga since 2003 and a registered Vinyasa Flow/Power Yoga teacher since 2014. I have a diverse range of yoga interests from the anatomy and physiology of Hatha Yoga to Sanskrit and traditional yogic studies. My journey to becoming a yoga teacher came about through seeing the positive changes that my own yoga practice brought into my life, both physically and mentally.
Although loving the fast paced Vinyasa yoga lifestyle, I am a huge advocate of slowing things down and chilling through Yin yoga and meditation, helping to keep the brain healthy and active.
Over a decade working in corporate IT, I understand the stresses, strains and time restraints that students face. Classes are crafted to leave bodies feeling stretched, flexed and sweaty and minds calm and clear.
I love the variety of students that come to yoga and I'm passionate about seeing their confidence, body awareness and commitment grow and their stresses drift away. Classes suitable for all levels.
Studies continue with teachers including Duncan Peak (Aus),Octavio Salvader (Bali), Maty Ezraty (US) and Sarah Powers (US).
