The Union of Sun and Moon
in Brighton East, Victoria organised by Scott Rennie
in Brighton East, Victoria organised by Scott Rennie
Yoga texts like the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and the Yoga Yajnavalkya have many esoteric references to celestial bodies such as the sun, moon and stars, and to subtle human physiology such as chakras, nadis and prana.
In this event, yoga teachers Scott Rennie and Kelly Davies will demystify the “Cosmic Body” through practical exploration of movement, breath, sound and meditation, and begin to understand these references as pointers to developing real relationship (intimacy) with our own body, breath, mind and beyond. We will also take some time to explore how our personal evolution through Yoga practices then overflows to positively change the way we relate to others, including our intimate partners.
This workshop coincides with the full Moon in November, and our final practice of the day will take place at the point when the Moon is fully illuminated by our Sun.
