A relaxed evening enjoying a delicious vegetarian dinner & chai, exploring yogic philosophy, meditation practice and watching one of Swamiji’s lectures on the big screen.
Friday 20 August, starts 6.30pm
Topic: In the Junction of the Moon and the Sun (Hatha yoga)
We invite you to join us, even if you have not been to a Satsang before for an evening of delicious vegetarian food, peaceful meditations and Yoga philosophy.
Our Community Satsang program aims to explore the essence of Yoga as a spiritual philosophy that brings each of us forward on our journey to Wholeness; The program can consist of meditation, music, mantras, philosophical talks, Swamijis lectures on film, discussions, and fellowship of like-minded people.
“Yoga in Daily Life” offers numerous methods to attain mental wellbeing: Mantra practice, the observance of ethical principles, the keeping of good company and the study of inspiring texts to purify and free the mind. An important tool in self-investigation and self-knowledge is the technique of “Self-inquiry Meditation”, a step-by-step meditation technique of Self-Analysis.

What does the word Satsang mean?
'Sat' translates as Truth, and 'Sanga' means company. So Satsang literally means to be in the company of Truth. The yoga saints declare that by constantly associating with Truth and hearing spiritual wisdom, one can free one's self from suffering.
