The path of Tantra is essentially the energetic approach to the spiritual side of Yoga using various techniques such as mantra, ritual, pranayama and meditation. It evolves heavily around a devotional practice emphasising the worship of the Goddess and her God Shiva. It contains a body of knowledge that directs us to realising our Selves and our place within the Whole.
This course will introduce the main Tantric principles and some simple exercises to help Yogis and Yoginis gain a deeper sense of not only their physical, emotional and mental health, but also the development of their consciousness. In doing so, we will be covering some Ayurvedic tools, Bhakti practices and following Kundalini through the Chakras.
Natalia Perera works as a spiritually inspired teacher and practitioner of ancient Nature based knowledge and practices to encourage self-awareness. She has worked in a Sydney women's refuge, an intern Ayurvedic doctor at Poonthottam Ayurvedasram in Kerala, India and a lecturer in the Ayurvedic Medicine faculty at Nature Care College in Sydney. In her private practice, she
specialises in Yogic and Nature based Psychotherapy, drawing upon her training in Psychology (Masters from University of NSW) and Gestalt Therapy as well as her 16 years of study and experience with Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda.
