Sitting at a desk all day? Spend a long time standing up? Or simply want to loosen up a little and release a few long-held-onto emotions?
Our hips take all the tension when sitting and standing, which can strain our lower backs and/or knees. And when we're stressed, our hips hold it all in too.
This specially designed sequence of hip-openers will help release these tighter areas. With plenty of great postures and breath work, we will release old holding patterns and improve mobility around the entire hip region.
You'll also learn how to work safely in some of the fancier yoga poses. There’ll also be time for those questions you’ve always wanted to ask. And afterwards, I guarantee you'll be stepping out lighter than ever!
No experience necessary and all yoga equipment provided. Just bring your lovely self along, and wear something comfortable - loose or stretchy - to move in.
Julie Shannon is a highly experienced Sydney yoga teacher practising and teaching yoga to an advanced level. She teaches flowing sequences of physical postures to focus the breath and refine physical alignment. Julie believes yoga is an incredible tool for cultivating energy, harmony and balance in your life. She also believes practicing yoga should be fun!
Julie studied with top teachers across the world and has taught at major Sydney schools since 2003.
