200 HR Hatha Teacher Training

Learn to teach yoga and deepen your practice in a small, intimate group with personalised 1:1 feedback from experienced teachers. This course spans 6 months so you have time to grow, evolve and transform into a true teacher.

Slow Yoga has partnered with Yoga Sivana to give you the chance to become a confident, capable and inspired yoga teacher in 2017. 

We care deeply about the quality of your training, and your ability to teach when you finish the course. We keep our trainings small and intimate so that we can give you personalised, 1:1 feedback and support throughout the course to each and every student. You will be required to assist in public classes at Yoga Village so that you get hands on experience with real students.

Details

The program takes place part time - on the first weekend of every month ( Friday, Saturday & Sunday ), from March - August 2017 + a 5 day residential immersion retreat at Govinda Valley. We meet for three full days of practice ( yoga, pranayama & meditation ) and study ( history, philosophy, anatomy, physiology etc. ) over 6 months. In between monthly meetings you will be required to participate in classes, do in class assisting and complete homework assignments.

Accreditation:  200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program is accredited  the internationally recognised Yoga Alliance. To become certified as a yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance you must complete an accredited 200 hour teacher training.
