Canggu - Bali
Canggu is made up of friendly and uncrowded black sand beaches with reef breaks that are known for having something for everyone. The actual break called “Canggu” is an exposed reef break which has consistent surf. The best wind direction is from the northeast. There are 4 other Reef breaks that provide lefts and rights. Canggu is definitely the answer for a more relaxing surfing adventure than the hustle and bustle of the main Kuta area. The main break is Echo Beach and there are three restaurants and a bikini shop, so you can surf then eat!
To sum it up ,Canggu offers a few soft rolling waves that are ideal for beginners ( even when it is big), some hot dog waves, rippable peaks, for high performance surfing, and, when the swell picks up, there are some more challenging beachfront barrels for expert surfers.
