Santosha Yoga Teacher Training modules explore the skills required for
the design and teaching of yoga in a range of settings from large groups in a studio or health club to private classes.
The Focus is on the ability to apply and understand these skills, especially for the selection of appropriate practise for different class levels, from novice to the more experienced. The training is designed to create the student to be more confident, compassionate and an effective Yoga Teacher in a supportive, accepting, environment in which the student can begin to connect within to find their own internal wisdom and auhtentic voice. 1. Technique/Training and Practice
Includes Asanas, Pranayamas, Kriyas,chanting, Mantra, Meditation and other Traditional Yoga technique.This hours will be mix between (1) analytical training in how to teach practise the techniques,practise of the techniques themselves: both areas will recieve substantial emphasis.Contact hours in category are dedicated and limited to areas that fall within the scope of traditional Yoga studies
2. Teaching Methodology
Includes principles of demonstration,observation,assisting/correcting,Instruction,teaching Styles, qualities of the Teacher, the student's process of learning and business aspect of teaching Yoga
3. Anatomy & Physiology
Includes both Human physical Anatomy and Physiology (bodily systems, organs etc) and energy Anatomy and Physiology (Chakras,nadis, etc.). The studies will include both the subject and application of its principles to yoga practice ( benefits,contraindications, healthy movement patterns, etc.) 5 hours be spent applying Anatomy and Physiology principles to yoga. There will be an open book exam after our Anatomy and Physiology content
4. Yoga Philoshophy/Lifestyle and Ethics for Yoga Teachers
Includes the study of yoga Philosophies, Yoga lifestyle and ethics for Yoga Teachers.
Includes practice teaching, recieving feedback, observing other teaching and hearing/giving feedback. Also includes assisting students while someone else is teaching. All these subjects provide training in teaching for beginners, progressive-beginners,progressive,intermediate levels and advanced levels

Yoga alliance accredited school
Santosha yoga is a registered school with Yoga Alliance. Our teacher training programs are internationally accredited, have exclusive recognation and qualify for 200 Hr, 300 Hr, 500 Hr Yoga Alliance registration.
The Part Time A intensives run for 12days. The combination of class, contact hours together with out-of-class non contact hours (prerequisite reading, reports) totals the hours at 110+. This course and the Part Time B course easily meets the Yoga Alliance 200 hours for basic teacher training registration.
Partners and Children Attendance
Santosha is all about family and recognises the importance of having a family experience! We are able to cater for both partners and children (even single parents who may need to have their children close by during the course)

Welcome to paradise! The location has been chosen to allow complete immersion in the yoga studies and to connect the spirit, to nature and the changing flow of the sea.
All that is heard are the sounds of the soft breeze through the trees and the calling of the warm ocean. Peace is a state that will reside within.
There is so much to see and do here, magnificent bushwalks with unique Australian wildlife like wallabies, kangaroos, kookaburras, pelicans, eagles and very rare nesting shorebirds everywhere.
You can watch the dolphin’s everyday on the beach or in the river – (the dolphins you will encounter are world renown as the largest dolphin family known to marine scientists, and they love to play in front of you) In season the migrating whales will leave you spellbound as they put on an amazing display as they head north to calve. If you love white sand then you will love our endless beach – where you can walk for miles, or enjoy special meditation spots.
