Description

This Course is suitable for the yoga teacher who may have undertaken Graduate Training previously and is ready for a refresher and deeper learning experience; or the yoga teacher who may have undertaken 100 or 200hr teacher training and would like to up skill to gain an additional 150 Hours in order to register with Yoga Australia or Yoga Alliance (USA).

Developed by a Faculty of Senior IYTA teachers, who between them have expertise in various modalities of yoga lineage, experience and specialty.  Offered over four (5) weekend modules, with home based study and online lecture,s the curriculum will take your yoga teaching to whole new dimension of understanding.  You can attend per module or all five (5) modules.  To receive the post graduate diploma the student must attend and pass all five (5) module assessments.  If attending by module only the student receives a certificate of attendance for that module.

Module One – 11, 12, 13 March – Advanced study of yoga energy systems koshas, bandhas, pranayama, prana vayus with Saraswathi Vasudevan
Module Two – 13, 14, 15 May – Applying the energy systems through the study of anatomy and physiology – asana, breath and bandhas with Simon Borg-Olivier
Module Three – 15, 16, 17 July – Advanced study of Raja Yoga, sutras, classic paths, Bhagavad Gita, meditation & relaxation (science behind the practice) with Arti Daryanani
Module Four – 09, 10, 11 September – Yin Yoga, Level One by Sarah Manning
Module Five –  18, 19, 20 November – Mudras, mantras and modern marketing with Louise Wiggins and Mary-Louise Parkinson
