Be guided into classic hatha yoga postures (asana) synchronising, breath and movement, gaining poise and peace within the passive-dynamic integration of body, mind and spirit.
Training: Filomena has been teaching for over 10 yrs and practicing for over 20 yrs. She has completed a 2-year Diploma with the Integral Yoga Academy of Australasia, which qualifies her as a Yoga Practitioner, Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist.

Filomena Aversa has been practicing yoga for over twenty years. She has worked under the tutelage of world-renowned teaches of Hatha Yoga, Ayurveda and Zen practice.
Her main teachers include, Shandor Remete, Dr. Savitri Devi, Rose Baudin, Dr Robert Svaboda, Simon Borg-Olivier, Dr. Kulkarni from India and Master Hogen Yamahata from Japan.
Filomena has worked with the Yogalates Training school in Byron Bay teaching pranayama and experiential Yoga Philosophy from 2002 -2004
She currently conducts Integral Yoga classes, therapeutic one to one sessions and Experiential Yoga Philosophy Workshops from Malacchi Range Retreat. on the Nth coast of NSW and in Bali
Filomena’s devotion to yoga sadhana and experience draws on the focus of breath to cultivate the subtle pranic body of being. Her innate knowledge extends from the therapeutic and somatic levels of body-breath awareness to the systemized techniques of pranayama as a means of purifying and magnifying the subtle energy systems of the three bodies. She applies the techniques of specific asana, mudra and sound guided by mind-breath fusion to surrender to ones own inner guru, the source of inspiration and creativity.
