Learn to live with the rhythm of the season in the way you move your body. We immerse ourselves in the shifts that naturally arise within us transitioning into the peak of spring. Bend and bloom open into your full potential.
Synchronise your backyard gardening habits with the solar/lunar cycle to grow bumper crops, fastrack germination, improve seedling strength and control weeds without chemicals. Claire will guide you on how to make a moon planting wheel and how to start using it the following day. A simple habit to help you align with nature and gain the most from your garden. You will make your own wheel to take home, all materials included.
We suggest treating yourself to Sunday brunch before this immersion, best to give yourself 2hrs to digest before we flow. Light snacks provided after the 2hr flow include kale chips, activated nuts, a juice and herbal tea.
Where do Yoga and Permaculture meet?...
In short, both are energy practices.
Practicing permaculture gives you control over what fuels your body in a way that is good for you and the environment. Backyard gardening is a great way to ensure your food is of the highest quality while contributing to the sustainable development movement by creating an ecosystem fit for birds and bees, a requirement for sustainable global food production.
Practicing yoga provides opportunity to check in with what you are giving your energy to and align with what serves you and others. In this way we reduce unnecessarily giving our energy away and being left feeling depleted.
In this immersion there will be time to dive a little deeper into the layers of the mind and body to leave ourselves deeply cleansed, energised and relaxed...fresh and ready to flow with the next change of seasons. Restorative options will be given throughout the 2 hour seasonal vinyasa flow yoga practice for those that need a more lunar experience on the day. The afternoon ends with deep rest (or conscious sleep) in Yoga Nidra. This guided meditation technique will push the reset button for those feeling a little depleted in energy.
Looking forward to springing you into your full potential soon!
