This class will give couples the opportunity to practice breathing, movement, relaxation exercises, massage techniques and partner poses that may be useful during labour and delivery.
Couples will also practice partner poses that can assist them in the pre- and post-natal period to care for each others physical, mental and emotional needs and strengthen their relationship as they face the challenges of parenthood.
The class is suitable for experienced yoga students and complete beginners alike.
Afternoon tea is provided and gives an informal opportunity for couples to meet and share experiences.
Written materials are provided.
The class is held at Yoga Spirit Studios at Torrensville; a yoga venue with a beautiful atmosphere and fully equipped studios.
A 'couple' may be defined as the mother plus another support person who is not the baby's father.
Individuals are registered separately; $30 per person = $60 per couple.
