In the Taoist Five Element System, Spring relates to the Wood Element.
Spring is the time of new life, vision and growth. Move, twist and stretch to nourish the muscles, tendons and ligaments. Tone up as excess fats and toxins are cleansed from the body and mind.
Positive Wood Element qualities include flexibility, patience and creativity.
Watch Your Condition Change!
Okido practices offered in the Spring Intensive include purification, strengthening, asana, sound and healing.
Part of healing is to practice helping each other...to help others, the key is to help oneself....to help oneself, the key is to help others. Being mindful and wholehearted is the focus of all the the practices.
Peter Masters will be leading the first week of the Intensive and other Zen Central teachers, including Megan and Bess, in the second week.
All levels of flexibility and experience are welcome. Includes a Community Breakfast each Friday and daily Medicinal Teas.
