This full day Sunday workshop explores practical ways to assist the labouring woman at birth. You will learn how to create a calm and reassuring atmoshphere, to provide effective physical support and emotional comfort as needed. It focuses on an undisturbed physiologicalbirth and describes the benefits of an Active Birth.
We practice birthpositions and other comfort measures. Best time to attend is between 32-38 weeks.
It is recommended that the pregnant woman attend as many active birth yoga classes as possible before birth to enhance the learning experienced in the workshop. Please call the office if you would like to attend less than the 8 week active birth yoga course.
