If you are someone who likes to move, come and join Paul and have some fun to great music!
With over 25 years experience as a professional dancer, teacher and fitness instructor who integrates mindfulness into everything, Pauls dance classes have a holistic approach, connecting mind and body through safe technique and body awareness. Find your own innate way of moving as an individual whilst being part of the collective.
The workshop will start off with a gentle warm up, focussing on breath and attentuion to the spine and the ways in which it can move. Discover moving your body with endless possibility and a sense of 360 degree spacial awareness. Initiate movement from different centers in the body using basic fundamental Contemporary dance techniqes adn bite-sized sequences to help unlock your creativity, free your mind and use your own intuition in a playful atmosphere.
Paul will guide you to discover more awareness, joy and connection to your body in space.
About Paul
Paul Cordeiro is a professional dancer and choreographer and has also been teaching dance and fitness in gyms and studions in Sydney for over 25 years. He currently teaches at Yoga Synergy (Sunday 3pm Contemporary dance class), Sydney Dance Company and at other various gyms and studios. Mostly he loves to help people discover how amazing dance is, and to have a whole lot of fun doing it. Paul teaches a variety of different styles (Contemporary, Dance Tone Burn, Elemental Flow, Zumba, Bollywood, Dance Jam and Musical Theartre Jazz) to many different types of people from complete beginners to professionals. Pauls gentle, warm and caring nature, as well as his enthusiasm and cheeky sense of humour makes everyone feel at ease and his classes an uplifting experience for all.
