In this introductory workshop, martial artist Mark Finch presents the foundation of breathing and energetic "Qi" movement for the Q-Flow system. You will learn how to tap into your core mobility by activating the natural energetic Qi "gateways" in the body. Set up natural breathing for stress release and longevity, and learn basic movements for Qi energy cultivation. All movements are "no" impact and work together with the natural form of your body to bring about a feeling of harmony, calm and lightness. This workshop is suitable for any age and is a great way to be introduced to the fundamentals of Chinese internal Qi energy work to complement your Yoga practice
Mark Finch is a fully qualified Certificate IV Personal Trainer, and energetic healer with over 20 years experience in the martial arts. He holds a 2nd Dan Black belt in Bujinkan Taijitsu, and has been trained over the last 7 years in the internal energy arts and movement, in particular, the powerful healing modality of Qigong and Internal Kung Fu. His goal is to bring powerful, direct, energetic movements to help facilitate healing of the human body. Mark teaches weekly Q-Flow classes at Yoga Synergy Bondi Junction: Mon 12.30pm and Wed 8pm.
