Part of the role of the yoga teacher is to lead the way from darkness into light, To encourage balance in the state of being of our students. But how are we doing this in our classes?
Join us in this teachers workshop to bring light into your teaching! Sally will share with us her creative and unique approach to designing considered and effective yoga classes.
This workshop will cover:
- how to build and maintain the energy and focus of the class
- intelligent sequencing
- useful and innovative ways of queuing breath, bandha and alignment
- keeping a consistent class theme through language and graceful weaving of philosophy
Sally is a wandering yoga teacher. She has spent her life studying and teaching various physical creative movement practices; including dance, yoga, acroyoga and circus arts. Both dance and yoga have taken her on worldly adventures, following teachers, choreographers and communities that inspire her. Originally from Melbourne, Sally is excited to be back teaching and practicing on home turf for the summer
"Sally's library of asanas, adjustments, and sequences is seriously impressive. Sally is honest and present in her teachings, which creates a space of safety for people to explore and play. A wonderful balance of creative whimsy and ancient wisdom."-student testimonial from The Yoga Forest, Guatemala 2014.
