These classes are suitable for those who have yoga experience. If you are a a beginner or prefer a gentle practice then Monday night Ivanhoe class will suit you better.
The class includes classical asanas (physical exercises) both passive and dynamic that will build strength and increase flexibility in the body; you will be guided to practice safely and begin to experience their deeper benefits on the nervous system, internal organs and glands, and the mind.
The class also incorporates relaxation, pranayam (breathing exercises) and meditation. The meditation practices are based on Self Enquiry Meditation techniques including mantra, breath work, visualization, concentration, self reflection and self enquiry.
Classes run in term blocks (generally in line with school terms), and bookings are for the whole term. Bookings Essential.
