This class is suitable for beginners and those who have some yoga experience.
Classes include asanas (yoga exercises), relaxation, breathing practices & meditation following the internationally renowned system of Yoga in Daily Life ®.
The classes offer you guidance in the practice of classical asanas (physical exercises) both passive and dynamic that will build strength and increase flexibility in the body; you will be guided to practice safely and begin to experience their deeper benefits on the nervous system, internal organs and glands, and the mind.
The classes also incorporate relaxation, pranayam (breathing exercises) and meditation. The meditation practices are based on Self Enquiry Meditation techniques including mantra, breath work, visualization, concentration, self reflection and self enquiry.
Term 3 starts Wednesday 13 July.
