The 2.5 hour beginners workshop will teach you the basics of yoga, to get you feeling comfortable and confident to attend any public yoga class!
In this workshop you will learn the most common positions found in most yoga classes, including:
• the Warrior standing positions
• the Sun Salute
• Back Bends
• a few Balances
and we’ll play around with some Inversions, so you can try them out and check out if you are ready for anything upside down.
(P.S Don’t worry if you haven’t heard of any of these terms before – we are going to teach it all to you!)
Places at the workshop will be limited to only 10 people, to make sure you can ask lots of questions, get lots of personal attention and feedback, play around and work out what’s best for your unique body and starting point.
This workshop will be a relaxed learning environment, to allow you to build your confidence slowly and safely, while you get to know your body.
We'll chat lots, have quite a few rests and breaks as well as lots of play time, do some partner work, take photos and whatever else takes our fancy on the day :-)
Plus you'll make new friends AND take home a yoga mat and be able to come back to 3 classes of your choice, to be able to put your learnings straight into practice!
