Have you been wanting to try Yoga, but can’t commit to a beginners course, and don’t want to turn up to an open class totally unprepared?
Have you been practicing Yoga for a while, and want to get a better understanding of the postures in order to enhance and deepen your practice?
Are you an experienced Yogi wanting to check that you haven’t fallen into any bad habits?
If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, then this workshop is for you!
For this workshop we’ll be focusing on the “foundation” postures, such as Sun salutations and warrior postures, as well as a few other key asanas. During the workshop you’ll learn how to correctly align your body in various postures, when to activate and when to relax your muscles, when and how to breathe correctly, and how to modify the postures to work with any injuries or physical restrictions you may have.
The workshop will be run over two consecutive weekends; Fundamentals I will cover sun salutations and standing postures, whilst Fundamentals II will go through seated postures and basic inversions.
Attendance is recommended for both weekends; for those who can only attend one session we may have a few spots available, however priority will be given to those attending both sessions.
This workshop is suitable for people of all ages and abilities; numbers will be limited, so book in early to avoid disappointment.
