This one hour class is designed for people who are time poor and still want to experience what Iyengar yoga has to offer. It's the perfect adjunct to a fitness routine. You'll learn how to develop strength and flexibility from the ground up, starting with standing poses and progressing through forward bends, twists and gentle back bending so you move your spine in all directions. As Mr Iyengar said "A rigid body is like a stiff shell. Living in an inflexible body is like living in a straightjacket, cut off from the free flow of cosmic energy, and constricting ourselves from the infinite possibilities of the universe."
