Mindful Living & Meditation 6 week course

Take a new approach to 2016! Whether you sit and meditate or not, you can still use these principles to enrich and transform your life daily.

Learn meditation, develop awareness and discover the 9 attitudes of mindfulness: TRUST, PATIENCE, BEGINNER'S MIND, NON-STRIVING, ACCEPTANCE, NON-JUDGING, LETTING GO, GRATITUDE AND GENEROSITY. These are incredibly valuable to understand deeply and cultivate in meditation practice. They are also equally important for integrating mindfulness into everyday living.

Ideal for beginners or advanced meditators. This course will show you how the beauty and simplicity of mindfulness philosophy can positively change the way you see yourself, your experience and the world around you.

Marissa is a Mindfulness and Compassion Trainer, Mindful Yoga and Meditation Teacher. As well as an International Stress Relief Therapist. Her aim is to empower you to understand yourself, and to support you to develop abilities to bravely face the highs and lows of life open heartedly. Through sharing the benefits of Neurobiology, Psychology, Stress Reduction, Mindfulness and Compassion training, Meditative Therapy, Transformative Practice, Yoga and Buddhist Philosophy. Where traditional wisdom and modern knowledge happily converge, and are offered in a way that is fascinating, enlightening, useful and relevant to you. 

Begins: 7th March 2016 - 6 Mondays 6.15-7.30pm $210 (one week break for Easter)

* For those who find it challenging to arrive by 6.15pm, the door will now be left open until 6.30pm when the meditation practice begins.
