6 Weeks Mentoring - $250
An amazing opportunity for yoga teachers! 6 x 2 hour sessions on Friday mornings. Mentoring sessions will offer a chance to spend time with Katie and work on particular issues or questions in a more in-depth way.
There will be an opportunity to post questions in advance for detailed exploration in the sessions. We will also work on specific asana (‘asana lab’) as well as covering any areas of further enquiry which arise from teaching, personal practice and study.
Katie Manitsas was the director of Jivamukti Yoga Sydney (formerly Samadhi Yoga) for many years but has now handed over to advanced certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher Doug Whittaker, so that she can focus on her young family, her passion for activism and her studies. Katie was the first certified Advanced Jivamukti Yoga teacher in Australia and has also studied extensively with the Wise Earth School of Ayurveda under the guidance of Mother Maya, as well as being a qualified Kundalini Yoga teacher. She completed training as a doula (birthing companion) in 2009. Katie is a writer for various publications and has had three books published ‘Spiritual Survival and the City’, ‘Yoga Off the Mat’ and ‘The Yoga of Birth’.
