Bending backwards uplifts us by counteracting the negative effects of gravity, stimulates the nervous system, realigns the spine, relieves back pain, helps digestive and eliminating function, stimulates to open the heart chakra, helps to break through insecurity and fear, relieves stress, builds confidence and self-esteem, and last but not least invites us to be both brave and vulnerable!
