A 5 week Yoga Course for Mums of older babies & toddlers that runs every term at Red Tent Yoga. The group is facilitated and lead by Emma Grant, Director of Red Tent Yoga, mum of two children, yogini and Ayurvedic practitioner.
The Yoga class is designed for the postnatal body of mums with 6 month olds to 3 year olds. For the mum we focus on building strength in her body, especially pelvic floor abdominals & legs while we also create a restorative & relaxing ambience. For the little ones we sing, play games, incorporate the baby/toddler into the class where appropriate. We have a toy box and a story & snack time at the end of the class while mum does her Yoga Nidra deep relatation.
