Over the 6 days we will cover postural analysis (both static and dynamic), observation skills, postural imbalances, injuries and the relevant postures/movements to re-balance the body.
At the end of the course you will have a better understanding of how the body functions in movement as well as the tools to be able to assess someone's posture and yoga practice, and then be able to create an appropriate sequence to address their imbalances.
In a class setting this knowledge will enable you to better understand your students bodies and give specific modifications and postures to make their yoga practice safer and more productive.
In a one to one setting you will be able to create positive change by tailoring personal sequences.
This course is specially designed to allow you to integrate and comprehend this complex topic. Lectures are combined with daily asana practice, demonstrations, group discussions, worksheets and homework.
9am to 4pm each day (1 hour lunch break)
