Description
Come along on the journey of food
Create a fresh feast from scratch. Harvest organic produce from our field, and then help transform it into a delicious meal in our kitchen.
· Hands-on organic farming experience
· Help turn farm fresh vegetables into a delicious meal
· Observe the importance of farm and kitchen to community
· Take in daily yoga classes
Spend Saturday morning at our Mangrove Yoga Organic Farm picking the vegetables that you will use on Sunday morning to prepare a vegetarian meal in our kitchen.
Saturday afternoon includes the option to join in preparing the sweets for the special morning tea on Sunday.
The afternoons are otherwise free for you to join the daily programs, enjoy the serene atmosphere, or explore the natural surroundings. The bookshop will also be open.
If you have visited the farm in the past, you may be surprised how it has grown. We regularly provide over half of Mangrove Yoga's fresh food requirements. We also have a flock of splendid hens laying eggs.
All Welcome. Please bring practical working clothes, particularly footwear for your morning at the Farm. While we do have gloves and some hats, it is appreciated if you can bring your own.
