Yogic Studies Modules
Diploma of Satyananda Yoga Training (91462 NSW)
Module 1: Provides the foundation to yogic theory and practices of Satyananda Yoga. The major branches are introduced: hatha, karma, raja, bhakti, jnana and mantra yoga. Two weeks residential and four months home study.
Module 2: The second module of the Diploma of Satyananda Yoga Training introduces yogic physiology (nadis, prana, koshas, chakras) and yoga psychology (eastern and western concepts of consciousness and the mind).
This course of study includes a mandatory two week residential stay followed by four months of guided home study and practice. Must have completed Yogic Studies 1
Module 3: Introduces intermediate practices and primary yogic texts: Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita and Kundalini Tantra. Two weeks residential and four months home study. Must have completed Yogic Studies 1 and 2.
Module 4: This final module develops the qualities required to teach a traditional style of yoga. Learn the subtleties of teaching yoga, develop practical experience, receive peer feedback and mentorship with a team of inspired senior teachers. Must have completed Yogic Studies 1, 2 and 3.
