Finding simple ways to effectively reduce stress, clear the mind and restore energy is becoming increasingly important for those who want to enjoy and promote health and wellbeing. Recognising this need in our communities we have developed a training course that teaches you how to instruct health promoting breathing practices and deep guided relaxation (Satyananda Yoga Nidra®).

The practice of Satyananda Yoga Nidra®(SYN) systematically addresses the tensions in the body, mind and emotions to induce a deep state of relaxation. Loved around the world for its easy accessibility, Yoga Nidra is used by psychiatrists, psychotherapists, medical and health professionals and yoga teachers in a variety of settings including schools, offices, community centres, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, prisons and nursing homes.

Instruction flows from understanding and experience, and so during this course you will first learn the practices, then the skills, to share these with others. Theory components include research on yoga nidra as a tool for managing health and mental conditions and improving general wellbeing.
