Teaching Creativity to Children

Mangala studios is offering two 2.5 hour intensives as stimulating professional development sessions for teachers of children in the yoga/dance/art fields.

For over thirty years the studios has been refining its approach to teaching creativity to children through dance, yoga and artistic placement. Using music, movemnt as learning, room design and the settling asanas and practices of yoga, children are led to joyful creative expression. The approaches are easily mofiied to suit teaching in other disciplines, to broaden the approach and provide greater access to the selected discipline by encouraging creativity.

Peter Hockety , the presenter is a principla of the school and a senior yoga, dance and tai Chi instrudtor. he has been teaching yoga and dance and choreographing childrens performances since 1978.
