These classes work on strengthening the body and increasing flexibility. The postures are at times strong and challenging but alternative poses are always offered for those who are injured, older or have had a taxing week!
Belinda believes that the physical benefits of yoga are great and valuable and when coupled with the deeper practice of this ancient art, create an overall sense of self and wellbeing. By applying yogic philosophy and by learning not to push, to be present and aware regardless of the awkwardness, the inner conflict is healed and a sense of true peace can be found in a lasting way that can be taken from the mat into your everyday life.
Belinda has been teaching yoga since 2001. Her inspiration to teach yoga started as a desire to help create space in peoples lives in which they can explore peace and access their authentic self, whilst keeping their body and mind active and healthy.
