This workshop is great for all levels of athletes and yoga practitioners (no experience required!). We will concentrate on yoga for flexibility of the hips, legs and shoulders as well as sport-specific core strength and balance exercises.

Emily Thomas is an established Yoga Teacher at various studios across Melbourne and has multiple private clients who use yoga to balance their training (from running, to cycling, skiing and crossfit). Ever since her first yoga teacher claimed that all such high intensity activities were ‘bad’ for the body and having a strong reaction to this notion, Emily has had a particular interest in the balance that yoga can bring to those who practice other enjoy both as part of a healthy lifestyle. Like many at Kula, she is a yoga teacher who enjoys weight training and cycling as complements to yoga, and her fiancé is a passionate competitive cyclist.
