Tired of counting sheep? Notice that your mind always seems to "switch on" rather than "switch off" when you get into bed? Tired of being tired? We all have periods where we struggle to sleep well. In fact, increasingly people are struggling with ongoing issues around sleep deprivation.
This workshop looks at how yoga and meditation techniques can assist you to "unwind" from your day and move the body and mind into a more relaxed state for sleep. We will use:
The workshop will include discussion, practice and take home information of practices and techniques. Please ensure you wear loose clothing. No yoga or meditation experience required.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Lesley was drawn to meditation through her yoga practice and as a way of managing a chronic pain condition. She has completed a meditation teacher training course with the Melbourne Meditation Centre and continues to be influenced by a variety of teachers and traditions. She teaches meditation as a practical tool to assist us to "tune into" ourselves for better balance and self-awareness.
