Bhagavad Gita Chapter 9 Verse 18 (Krishna to Arjuna)
'I am the goal, the sustainer, the master, the witness, the abode, the refuge, and the most dear friend. I am the creation and the annihilation, the basis of everything, the resting place and the eternal seed. '
Before we found our sangha, we found a clan. Through the seed of our collective consciousness, we created a universe (LOKAH) where through vibration; we stood together (SAMASTAH) and found our sweetness (SUKHINO), eventually reaching our highest state (BHAV). It is our responsibility (ANTU) to do it all over again...
We found SHELTER in the NADAM (music). LIBERATION was dancing to a unique and innovative genre of music... And although our lokah may have changed from a secret outdoor address to a yoga centre located in a warehouse in the inner west, as Jivamukti yogis, we still dance together; this time for the liberation of ALL beings. One of the five tenets of the Jivamukti Yoga Method is Bhakti: Devotion. When devoted completely to a goal; when surrendering completely, all small self-desires subside so that everyone has the chance to be free and liberation is realised.
