'It is not right for you to hesitate. There is nothing better for a warrior than a fight based on dharma [truth, purpose]'
- The Bhagavad Gita v2.31
Gita - 'beautiful song' - is the dialogue between Arjuna, a reluctant warrior, and Krishna, the charioteer and strategist to whom Arjuna calls upon in his darkest hour. As yogis, we are Arjuna, facing challenges we never imagined in a world seemingly at war with itself. How do we look beyond our own doubts to direct our lives through and beyond conflict, separation and fear? How do we transcend effort and surrender to grace in our most challenging times?
We are the warrior. We are the instruments of change. All we need is guidance. The Bhagavad Gita was one of very few possessions owned by Mahatma Gandhi. He sought inspiration from it daily; becoming the principal text which inspired the very revolution that eventually liberated India from Britain.
This workshop includes asana practice, meditation and all-in singing.
