A workshop for women in which we will investigate how to nourish and support your womb (and whole being) during menstruation.
We will do a practice together which is appropriate during menstruation, and learn about what is not appropriate and why. We will discuss supportive measures for menstrual problems as well as for fertility (this workshop would be great for those trying to conceive). Teachers, beginners and women from all walks and stages of life are welcomed.
Teachings will be drawn from the Wise Earth School of Ayurveda as well as various sources of research on yoga and menstruation.
This workshop includes a combination of asana practice (postures), prananyama (breathing) and lecture.
