Join Nicole Walsh and Rod Galbraith for an exquisite and intimate retreat in Bali, enjoying daily yoga and meditation, delicious cuisine, and rejuvenation time in a lush private villa in the heart of Seminyak.
Bliss out with us in one of our most beloved holiday destinations, for a yoga vacation where you get to choose how much or how little you’d like to do each day. Start the day with an invigorating Vinyasa Flow yoga class in our private outdoor yoga shala, followed by a delicious tropical breakfast. From there, choose from poolside lounging with a good book, pampering yourself with luxurious massages or spa treatments, or exploring the boutiques and cafes of colourful Seminyak. In the afternoons we’ll gather for a rejuvenating Lunar Flow or Yin yoga class and meditation, and enjoy a delicious dinner overlooking the beautiful tropical gardens of the villa, or in one of Seminyak’s finest restaurants.
The daily yoga classes will be tailored to all levels of practitioner - so if you’re very new to yoga, or have years of experience, you’ll be guided through a practice that will create a sense of inner and outer balance, leaving you feeling revitalised and uplifted.
Rest and relax in our private villa
Our private yoga retreat oasis is tucked away in a quiet lane amidst the chic playground of Seminyak. Set amongst 1400m2 of private tropical gardens, you will find peace and quiet, while outside the vibrancy of Bali awaits. The colourful streets of Seminyak are great fun to explore, with plenty of boutique shops, spas, restaurants and cafes only minutes away. The beach is also in walking distance from your secluded tropical holiday haven, giving you the best of both worlds!
The villa features traditional Balinese architecture and elegant natural interiors, with beautiful hand-carved teak furniture, and an impressive collection of traditional artworks from different islands across Indonesia. With only seven bedrooms spread out over the expansive property, and an abundance of cosy little hang-out spots to enjoy some quiet time, the villa offers an intimate setting for personal time as well as a relaxed environment for communal gathering. Choose from comfy sofas to curl up with a good book, sun lounges to recline by the sparkling swimming pool, or the fully-equipped state of the art kitchen to grab a refreshing drink.
The thatched-roofed open air yoga shala overlooks the pool and tropical gardens, and offers the quintessential Balinese outdoor yoga experience.
Move and rejuvenate with daily yoga classes
Our morning Vinyasa Flow classes will be dynamic, combining movement and breath linked together in powerful, intelligently designed sequences. Our refreshingly uncomplicated approach to practice will inspire and uplift, allowing everyday stresses to fall away, breath by breath. You’ll feel energised, balanced and light! Beginners will be offered simpler modifications, while seasoned yogis can explore depth in their practice.
In the afternoons, we’ll enter the chill out zone to rejuvenate you from the day’s activities, and have you feeling re-energised and ready to enjoy beautiful Bali evenings. Lunar Flow classes take a gentler approach to Vinyasa yoga - soothing movements that will unwind the accumulation of stress and replenish your vital energy. Yin yoga involves longer holds in more restorative poses, cultivating patience and stillness - qualities that help us work towards meditation and deep relaxation. You’ll explore the art of letting go, and experience profound releases in your body and mind through these peaceful practices.
Nourish the body temple
After our morning yoga practice, we’ll enjoy a nourishing breakfast that includes a sumptuous array of tropical fresh fruits and juices to kickstart your day.
On the first and last nights of the retreat, Rod will use his award-winning event designing talents to create an intimate dining experience in the villa, overlooking the pool and tropical gardens. The other three nights Nicole and Rod look forward to sharing some of their favourite restaurants with you, so you can enjoy a truly sublime Balinese dining experience. All evening dinners (except for beverages) are included in the retreat package. Please let us know of any food allergies and dietary requirements so we can factor this in.
We’ve kept lunch separate from the retreat package so that you can enjoy exploring Seminyak’s wonderful cafes and restaurants. We’re happy to offer recommendations from our list of favourites. There is an amazing raw vegan restaurant just a minute’s walk away, plus plenty of other options depending on your budget.
