**6 Week prenatal course**
During pregnancy, the body goes through enormous change as it undertakes the amazing process of growing new life. With these changes, it is important to nourish and energise the bodymind to provide the best support possible for this phase of life. Yoga is a wonderful way to do this.
Join Tenille for a 6 Week Prenatal Yoga course. The course is specifically designed for pregnancy, providing a safe and nurturing environment for expectant mothers. Each week we'll focus on postures and techniques to help strengthen the bodymind and help you relax as you enjoy this wonderful time.
The course is designed to:
- Provide a safe yoga practice during pregnancy including relevant modifications (that can also be used in non prenatal classes)
- Enhance energy levels
- Strengthen the pelvic floor
- Enhance pelvic stability
- Provide breathing techniques for pregnancy and labour
Teaching since 2012, Tenille incorporates her background of physical movement and love of traditional yogic postures to create her own unique approach. Passionate about dynamic vinyasa practice, Tenille focuses on strengthening the body whilst encouraging total surrender of the mind. Tenille loves supporting student’s personal transformation as they experience the immersion of yoga in their lives.
Tenille had her first child in 2014. After experience a challenging physical pregnancy and post pregnancy recovery (which she was a surprise to her given her years of physicality), Tenille took a keen interest in researching and understanding appropriate prenatal and postnatal yoga that would assist the body throughout pregnancy and in fact aid its recovery so new mums can come back to practice safely. Tenille is currently pregnant with her second child which is due late 2016.
