Classes will focus on breath work, pelvic floor, abdominals, back and buttocks, releasing tension in your neck and shoulders caused by feeding and carrying your child, and finishing with relaxation to let it all settle. A safe environment with no expectation for your bub to behave in a certain way. Where it’s totally ok to feed or change your baby during the practice, and you will be welcome to join in even if you are running a bit late.
Mum, bring your own mat or rent one at the Studio, a water bottle and perhaps a small towel. Wear clothing that will allow you to move and not get in your way when you need to grip the mat or turn upside down. Eat your last bigger meal at least two hours before the class. It can be rather uncomfortable to twist and turn with a belly full of food.
Bub, bring what you need to be comfortable. Start no earlier than four weeks after giving birth.
