This 4 week course is structured to provide participants with a very effective, simple and traditionally authentic meditation technique. Full step-by-step instruction is delivered in a style that allows the participants to leave the course both confident and knowledgeable. The goal of the course is to empower the participants with the correct information to continue to independently practice meditation. A written course manual ?is supplied to compliment the oral information and provide reinforced learning.

The meditation course will examine the science of mantra and the esoteric understanding of how mantra is used in meditation. The course is based around the meditation technique known as Laya Yoga. In Sanskrit, laya means ‘absorption’ or ‘dissolution’. This method is based upon the absorption or ‘melting’ into a subtle energy of the universe.

Participants do not need ?to have any previous experience in meditation.


Week 1

• A journey into the lost art of the use of mantra. This lecture is an introduction into the Tantric ?technique of Laya Yoga and the basis of the method of the use of mantras in meditation. This will be followed by a meditation with the use of music.

Week 2

• The initiation with the mantra.

• Meditation practice.• Advice and information on the correct sitting positions for meditation.

• Meditation practice.

Week 3

• Meditation practice.

• Philosophical components of yoga. The Tantric understanding of Shiva and Shakti.

• Meditation practice.

Week 4

• Meditation practice.

• The art of consecration.
